The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service reports that one person was treated and released at Sault Area Hospital after a slashing incident earlier today.
The individual was injured in the upper left arm by a sharp-edged weapon.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the West End and police are continuing to investigate it today.
