OPP NEWS RELEASE

************************* GOULAIS RIVER, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP were called to a Goulais River school this morning after three students reported a man acting in an unusual manner.

This morning at about 8:30 a.m., the students were waiting for the school bus at the end of their driveways on Highway 17 in the Havilland Bay area.

The students report that a man stopped on the side of the road and allegedly took photographs of them.

The students described the vehicle as an older-style light-coloured van.

The van had two horizontal brown stripes on the vehicle and windows on the side.

The van also had a spare tire mounted on the front of the vehicle.

The driver has been described as an older man with grey hair and glasses.

A camera was seen pointed in the direction of the students.

OPP patrols from Sault Ste. Marie through to Wawa failed to locate a vehicle matching this description.

Police are asking anyone who sees a vehicle matching this description to call the nearest police department right away.

Police are also asking the operator of this van to come forward and offer an explanation for your actions.
