************************* A 17-year-old male will be in bail court today charged with break and enter as well as breaking previous conditions of a court release order and two counts of breaching conditions of a probation order.

It is alleged the accused broke into a home on Panoramic Drive on May 16, and that he fled when the owner confronted him.

Police were called and the suspect located with the assistance of the canine unit.

************************* Break-ins

- A break-in was reported this morning at 3:12 a.m. to the Beer Store located at 275 Second Line West. Several cases of beer were taken. Responding patrol officers and the canine unit recovered the stolen property but the suspect(s) escaped. The investigation is continuing.

- Police were called to investigate a break-in to a shed at a residence located on Ontario Avenue. Taken was a 2006 KTM dirt bike (located the next day).

- A garage was broken into at a home on McGreggor Avenue. It is reported that a bottle of liquor was taken.

- A shed located at a residence in the 600 block of Northern Avenue was entered and four bicycles taken. The lock to the shed was cut off by the suspects.

- A home in the 100 block of Plaintree was entered sometime on the weekend; it has not been determined what was taken.

- A break-in was reported to a porch of a residence on Coulson Avenue. The suspects apparently cut the screen in the door to gain access. Nothing was reported taken.

- An attempted break-in was reported to a home on Carlbert Street. Someone had tampered with the front door as well as removing a screen from a rear window.

************************* Mischief complaints

- A rock was thrown through a window in the 100 block of Princeton Drive. No suspects were located.

- A rock was thrown through a window in the 400 block of Second Avenue. No suspects located.

- A fence located at the rear of a residence in the 100 block of Queen Street East was spray-painted with graffiti.

- A rock was thrown through the window of Lagrotta Antiques located at 808 Queen Street East.
