Police dog helps sniff out women on Fourth Line

************************* Stolen vehicle

At approximately 3:30 this morning, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 16-year-old female and a 31-year-old female for possession of property obtained by crime.

It is alleged that the two accused were in joint possession of a stolen vehicle located in the 400 block of Fourth Line West.

The 16-year-old female is charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and will be appearing in court on August 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Christina Toneguzzi, age 31 of 155 Main Street, Thessalon is charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

She will be appearing in court on August 23 at 9 a.m.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Canine Unit assisted in locating these two accused persons.

************************* Warrants

Yesterday evening, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 24-year-old male on several warrants. Ronald Stone, age 24, of 321 Albert Street East was arrested for failing to appear for court, fail to appear for identification and two counts of breach of probation.

Mr. Stone will be appearing in court on August 23 at 9 a.m.

************************* Break and enter

- A residence in the 100 block of Euclid Road was entered - electronics were stolen.

- A residence in the 200 block of Wellington Street West was entered - jewellery was stolen.

************************* Mischief

- A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Panoramic Drive was damaged.

************************* Theft

- Construction supplies were stolen from Canal Road.

- Lawn ornaments were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Princess Crescent.

- A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Dacey Road was entered and electronics were stolen.

- A bike was stolen from the 500 block of Douglas Street.
