************************* Drivers calling us with traffic complaints

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - Members of the Sault Ste. Marie OPP and the OPP Traffic and Marine Unit were kept busy over the weekend trying to locate those drivers who drive like they are the only ones on the roadway.

The Sault Ste. Marie OPP Detachment received 15 different calls over the weekend about the rash and erratic driving habits of other drivers.

In most cases officers were able to locate the drivers and take the appropriate legal actions under the circumstances.

If you see anyone whose driving should come to the attention of the police, call the OPP right away.

If you are able to get a licence plate and a general description of the offending vehicle, this will enable officers to locate the driver a little faster.
