window tint reading
Police say this is a reasonable reading for window tinting.

Sault Ste. Marie Police and the Ontario Provincial Police conducted window tint enforcement around the Sault on June 21.

According to the Highway Traffic Act, windows to the right and left of the driver must have a visible light transmission level of at least 70 per cent.

Officers said they issued 20 tickets during the enforcement in a press release, but drivers can have the ticket rescinded if they reduce the tint and provide proof within 72 hours.

Drivers that do not provide proof will face a $110 fine.
