Police chase down four youth after vehicle burglaries

************************* In the early morning hours today, four young people were observed entering a vehicle in the 1000 block of Lake Street, where they [allegedly] stole a GPS unit and assorted change.

The four youths also [allegedly] entered a vehicle on Prince Charles Crescent but fled the area when police arrived.

A foot chase ensued and all youth were arrested.

Two of the youths were on probation orders with curfews and were subsequently held for bail court.

The other two were charged and released.

As always, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to remind people to keep their vehicles locked and to remove anything of value.
