TV6 News is reporting this morning that some generous soul dropped off a supply of what's believed to be World War I or World War II live ammunition at a Goodwill in the Upper Peninsula community of Houghton.

TV6 News is reporting this morning that some generous soul dropped off a supply of what's believed to be World War I or World War II live ammunition at a Goodwill in the Upper Peninsula community of Houghton.

Houghton City Police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. yesterday, and the Michigan State Police bomb squad attended.

No one was hurt.

The live ammo was taken to Marquette for examination.
