Saultites are invited to celebrate the voices of Bawating with a plant walk.

Join Frank Belleau and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library in Garden River on Saturday, June 22 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exact meeting spot will be provided to attendees in advance of the event.

“Learn about plants native to our area and their various uses,” the library said in a news release.

“This is an outdoor event, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.” 

Following the event, cedar/tamarack tea will be available.

The event is free but registration is required, which can be done online or by calling the Reference and Information Department at 705-759-5236.
