SooToday received information this evening suggesting that an aircraft made an emergency landing on Highway 129.
The OPP confirmed that a small plane had indeed been forced to land on the highway just south of Chapleau.
No injuries were reported in the incident. There are few details available at this time. It is unknown if the highway is closed or traffic is restricted.
