Pictures of a swollen Garden River

A loyal SooToday.com reader has provided photos taken mid-afternoon yesterday showing Garden River higher than it's been in some time.

The images (see photo gallery below) reveal more effects of the early-Saturday deluge that caused washouts north of Sault Ste. Marie.

More problems could develop over the next few days given the following forecast from Environment Canada:
