Legendary music producer Phil Spector was sentenced in a Los Angeles courtroom today to 15 years to life, plus four years for the personal use of a firearm.

Spector was found guilty of second-degree murder last month in the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson in his California home.

Spector will be eligible for parole in 19 years, at which time he'll be 88 years old.

The infamous creator of the wall-of-sound recording technique that launched the careers of the Ronettes and the Righteous Brothers, was granted a retrial after his original 2007 trial resulted in a hung jury.
