Two local Pharmasave locations will be offering Saultites another opportunity for walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday, Aug. 2.

“We’ve been seeing lots of first dose vaccinations since we started offering walk-in vaccinations at our stores,” said Jordan Jack, co-owner of the two Sault Pharmasave stores.

“We’re trying to be as accessible as possible for everyone to receive their vaccination and we’ve seen a substantial increase in people rolling up their sleeves since we began walk-ins,” Jack said.

East End Pharmasave in the Churchill Plaza will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., offering the Moderna vaccine.

That location will be receiving doses of the Pfizer vaccine Wednesday Aug. 4.

Pharmasave West End at 658 Second Line West will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, offering both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
