************************* Impaired driving arrest

Forty-seven-year-old Peter Gavin of 171 Anna Street was arrested on the 9th of June at 12:22 a.m. and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of fail to appear for prints.

It is alleged that City Police checked a vehicle parked on Carmen’s Way around 12:22 a.m. last night and found the driver passed out with the vehicle running.

At the time, the accused was under the influence of alcohol.

Officers further discovered that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for prints from the 31st of May.

He is to appear in court on the 12th of July.
