NEWS RELEASE

********************* 30-year-old Peter Goodall of #1-123 Bruce Street was arrested on the 16th of April and charged with two counts of breach of probation, two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

It is alleged that on the 15th of April the accused stole two cartons of cigarettes from the Petro-Canada located at 411 Great Northern Road.

He fled from the store but was apprehended by City Police on Second Line West across from the City Police Station.

Further investigation revealed that the accused [allegedly] stole cigarettes from the Stop and Go Variety Store at 741 Trunk Road on the 15th of April.

At the time of both offences the accused was on probation with terms to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
