NEWS RELEASE
************************* Sixty-three-year-old Patrick Joseph Ryan of 71 Rossmore Road was arrested at 6:42 p.m. yesterday on Rossmore Road for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
It is alleged that the accused was involved in a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Rossmore Road and Korah Road.
The accused was operating this truck west on Rossmore Road and struck a southbound car while making a wide right-hand turn onto Korah Road.
Police officers who attended to investigate the accident found the accused to be impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested and charged.
The accused was released with a court date of the 10th of January.
Damage to both vehicles was moderate and the 54-year-old female driver of the other vehicle was unharmed in the collision.
