Passports stolen from cars. Cops think it was Kevin

************************ Male arrested after going through vehicles on Jean Avenue

Twenty-year-old Kevin Robinson of 19 Williams Street was arrested around 3 a.m. this morning on Jean Avenue and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of breach of a release document and one count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on the 30th of January around 2:45 a.m., the accused entered a vehicle in the driveway of a residence in the 100 block of Jean Avenue and stole three passports that were inside.

City Police were checking the area after receiving a call regarding a male going through vehicles on Jean Street and when they approached the accused, he was observed throwing the passports to the ground.

At the time of the incident, the accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was on undertaking and probation order with conditions that he abstain from the consumption of alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He is to appear in bail court this morning.
