************************* Driver charged with consuming over legal limit

Sixty-year-old Pamela Wishart of 114 Lansdowne Avenue was arrested on the 24th of June at 10:27 p.m. on Gladstone Avenue and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit.

City Police received a call on the 24th of June at approximately 10:09 regarding a possible impaired driver in the area of Great Northern Road near Third Line East.

A witness had called in the vehicle details and plates.

Police located the vehicle traveling in the Bruce Street area and were able to stop it on Gladstone Avenue.

When officers checked the driver, the accused, they found her to be under the influence of alcohol and when she was given a roadside screening device breathalyzer test, she registered a fail.

She is to appear in court on the 27th of July.
