Twenty-three-year-old Derek Lethbridge of 438 North Street, upstairs and 19-year-old Sophie Nash of the same address are facing charges of theft under $5,000 after separate shoplifting incidents on consecutive days.

On Friday, staff at Wardlaw Fuels reported that a female had taken $24 in food, chocolate bars, ice cream and cake while a male accomplice stood nearby, acting as a lockout.

Yesterday, the store manager reported that he'd seen two people matching the desciption of the suspects entering Station Mall.

This time, merchandise was taken from the Zellers store, again with one person lifting the stuff and another serving as lookout.

Lethbridge has also been charged with two counts of breach of probation.
