Public’s assistance help in locating Manitoulin man 
 
(LITTLE CURRENT, On) – Manitoulin OPP officers were involved searching for a missing person. Phillip Michael Nadjiowon age 21 years described as 6 feet tall and about 190 lbs was reported missing to the Manitoulin OPP yesterday 29 February 2012.
 
A missing person investigation was started into his last know whereabouts. 
 
It is known that Nadjiwon was last seen leaving a residence on Water Street in Little Current at 2 a.m. on Sunday February 26 2012.
 
He had not been seen or heard of since this disappearance. 
 
The Manitoulin OPP asked for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Nadjiwon as the police were concerned for his well being.
 
Shortly after the information went out to the public many calls were received in relation to possible sightings and his whereabouts.
 
OPP with the assistance of the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service followed up these leads which located Mr. Nadjiwon in a safe and sound condition. 
 
Police credit the assistance of the public and media assistance for locating this man quickly.
 
“The public and the assistance of the media do an amazing job and the police truly appreciate their help” advised Constable Allan Boyd Community Services Officer with the Manitoulin OPP. 
 
Police will be completing their investigation.

OPP Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating Manitoulin Man 
 
LITTLE CURRENT, ON – Manitoulin OPP is currently searching for a missing person and is asking for the public’s assistance.
Phillip Michael NADJIWON age 21 years described as 6 feet tall and about 190 lbs.
 
He has a medium build with short straight black hair and brown eyes.
 
He is of aboriginal decent and wears black rimmed eyeglasses with a goatee and moustache.
 
The only distinguishing feature is that he has a scar over his right eyebrow.
 
Nadjiwon was last see wearing a burgundy fleece zippered sweater, blue jeans and dark blue winter jacket with white Puma court running shoes.
 
It is known that Nadjiwon was last seen leaving a residence on Water Street in Little Current at 2 a.m. on Sunday February 26 2012.
 
He has not been seen or heard of since this disappearance. 
 
The Manitoulin OPP is asking for public assistance in locating Mr. Nadjiwon as the police are concerned for his well being.
 
If anyone see’s Mr. Nadjiwon they are asked to call the OPP at 1800-310-1122.
 
The Manitoulin OPP along with the OPP Emergency Response team and the OPP Canine Unit have been activated to search the Little Current area.
 
The OPP Helicopter will be conducting an aerial search.
