One vehicle found in double homicide investigation

************************* Green Ford Taurus located - Huron County homicide

HURON COUNTY, ON, July 25 - One of the two vehicles sought by police has been located.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. today, the green Ford Taurus bearing Ontario licence AXSR 755 was located by the OPP plane in a dense bush located on Rodger Ville Road, south of the Village of Zurich in Hay Township.

No one was located in or around the vehicle.

Members of the Huron OPP, Western Region Emergency Response Team and K-9 Units are conducting a ground search of the immediate area to look for more clues.

At this point it is still unclear if the Taurus was related to this incident however it is being held for expert examination by the Forensic Identication Unit.

Huron County OPP are still seeking to locate the 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck, grey in colour bearing Ontario licence number JK8 334.

No attempt to stop the vehicle should be made by any member of the public.

If located call 911, or 1-888-310-1122 or your local police agency immediately.

Police remind area residents to ensure that homes and vehicles are locked and to report any suspicious activity or persons of concern to police immediately.
