One taken to hospital after collision (5 photos, video added, updated)

The driver of a blue pickup truck was taken to hospital after it came to rest at the circle garden on the corner of Cathcart and Huron Streets

A blue Ford Ranger collided with another vehicle elsewhere before coming to a stop at the corner of Cathcart and Huron Streets, says Sault Ste. Marie Police Service spokesperson Lincoln Louttit. 

The vehicle has been removed from the scene and the collision is currently under investigation.

Drivers should exercise caution when approaching the intersection of Cathcart and Huron Streets this morning, as a vehicle involved in a collision remains on the scene at the time of publication.

Sometime around 9:30 a.m. Sault Ste. Marie police, fire and emergency services attended the collision and at least one person was taken to hospital.

The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
