One dead in crash south of Highway 17

*********************** Two-vehicle collision claims one life

(Sudbury, ON) - At approximately 8:41 a.m. this date, members from the Sudbury Detachment of the OPP responded to a collision involving two motor vehicles.

The crash took place just south of Highway 17 on the southeast bypass.

Traffic has been restricted to the eastbound lane of the bypass until further notice.

All westbound traffic is being routed through Sudbury.

Also assisting in the investigation is an OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI).

Further information will be released as it becomes available.
