On guard for thee: Local army reserve unit wants you

The Canadian Army Reserve will be hosting a job fair next week.

The event at the Sault Ste. Marie Armoury on Tuesday will showcase employment opportunities with both civilian employers and local Army Reserve units.

“Visitors of all ages will be able to visit with Army Reservists, try out some of their equipment, view interactive displays and participate in dynamic and informative activities,” said the Canadian Armed Forces in a news release. 

“Interested individuals will be able to initiate the Canadian Army enrolment process by applying on-site and can speak with other local employers about their application processes.”

There will be a special employment session for local secondary school students from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Then the job fair is open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m.
