Off-duty officer nabs Donald Marshall for impaired

************************ Forty-six-year-old Donald Marshall of 25 Hess Street was arrested yesterday at 11:35 p.m. on Albert Street West and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consuming over the legal limit.

It is alleged that on the 21st of May at approximately 11:15 p.m. the accused was operating a GMC Sierra pickup truck and while attempting to exit the parking lot of the Marconi Hall.

His vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the lot.

Witnesses, one of them an off-duty City Police officer, observed the collision and were able to stop the driver that was attempting to leave the scene.

The accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time and arrested.

He is to appear in court on June 29.
