NEWS RELEASE

ONTARIO LOTTERY AND GAMING CORP.

****************************** Lotto Max draw worth an estimated $42 million

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Lotto Max jackpot is still up for grabs and the amount is skyrocketing.

Friday evening's draw now sits at an estimated $42 million, after five subsequent Lotto Max draws have awarded thousands of other prizes worth millions of dollars but no jackpot.

Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday night.

Since the launch of Lotto Max in September 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won more than $66.8 million in prizes, including two jackpot winners!

For each $5 play, Lotto Max players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine.

Encore is also available on Lotto Max for $1.

Group players should always identify each group member with a signature on group play forms to confirm their contribution.

Helpful group play forms are available at www.OLG.ca.

Consumers are reminded that lottery retailers are not allowed to validate a ticket unless the customer has signed it.

Signature boxes located on the front of all on-line lottery tickets, such as Lotto Max, make it easier for customers to remember to sign their tickets at the time of purchase.

It is a provincial offence, punishable by fines, to sell OLG lottery tickets to anyone under 18 years of age.

OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities.

Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than $28 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario.

Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, provincial priority programs such as health care and education, and local and provincial charities and non-profit organizations through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
