Sault Ste. Marie's Brad Jacobs fell to 1-2 at the Tim Hortons Brier in London with a 7-5 extra end loss to Newfoundland & Labrador's Brad Gushue on Sunday afternoon.
The local entry out of the Soo Curlers Association has a bye this evening and will return to action with two draws on Monday.
Jacobs is joined by third E.J. Harnden, second Ryan Harnden and lead Scott Seabrook.
