Brad Gregorini, Norpro president, along with his staff, have reason to be proud as the Sault-based security and investigations company has been ranked 136th by Canadian Business and Maclean’s annual Growth 500, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

Growth 500 ranks Canadian businesses on five-year revenue growth. Growth 500 winners are profiled in a special print issue of Canadian Business published with Maclean’s magazine and online

Norpro made the 2019 Growth 500 list with five-year growth revenue of 695 per cent.

“Norpro is honoured to be recognized on the Growth 500 ranking,” Gregorini stated in a news release.

“This achievement reflects the strengths and commitment of our hard-working staff, that made this all possible.”

Norpro started up in Sault Ste. Marie in 1980 as a security company, having expanded to a full-service problem solver for its clients in the areas of security (including alarm systems and security cameras), health and safety, business equipment, and information technology solutions.

The company also works closely with law enforcement agencies such as the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

Norpro’s health and safety training involves preparing its own employees and those in other businesses to work at heights and in enclosed spaces, as well as providing CPR training.

Norpro performs corporate investigations and cases involving harassment.

The company has expanded across Ontario, and recently, into Michigan.
