The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce’s, Strive: Young Professionals Group (YPG), is proud to announce the second annual Algoma Visionary Awards (AVA) Gala.

On Jan. 11, 2019 at Grand Gardens North, Strive will be recognizing up to 20 individuals for their incredible efforts to achieve greatness in leadership, community engagement, professional achievement, volunteerism, and mentoring in our community.

Current Chair of the Strive Executive, Ashlee Gerard spoke of the event, “The inaugural Algoma Visionary Awards Gala hosted in January 2018 was a great success. We received over 100 nominations and were able to recognize 20 exceptional local influencers from a wide variety of industries and backgrounds. It was incredible to see the camaraderie of our young workforce. The Strive YPG Executive is looking forward to the second annual Algoma Visionary Awards and have been actively engaging the community to nominate co-workers, colleagues and friends who have gone above and beyond over the past year. We are passionate about recognizing the difference young professionals are making in our community.”

Tickets go on sale Dec. 3, 2018. Tickets cost $65 per ticket, or $500 per table of eight.
