*********************** Hiawatha Beach is unsafe for swimming/bathing

Hiawatha Beach, also known as Kinsmen Park, located off 5th Line in Sault Ste. Marie has been posted as unsafe for swimming/bathing.

The test results of water samples taken exceeded the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care bacteriological guidelines for safe swimming/bathing.

The high levels of bacteria in the water may pose a risk to your health.

The Medical Officer of Health advises that this beach is unsafe for swimming at this time.

This beach is posted with signs notifying the public of the posting.

Additional water samples have been taken.

When the results return to safe parameters, the public will be notified.

******************* Sellers Park Beach is unsafe for swimming/bathing!

Sellers Park Beach, located off Hanes Avenue in Blind River has been posted as unsafe for swimming/bathing.

The test results of water samples taken exceeded the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care bacteriological guidelines for safe swimming/bathing.

The high levels of bacteria in the water may pose a risk to your health.

The Medical Officer of Health advises that this beach is unsafe for swimming at this time.

This beach is posted with signs notifying the public of the posting. When the results return to safe parameters, the public will be notified.
