NEWS RELEASE

************************* A 19-year-old male was arrested on the 26th of March at 12:36 a.m. at a West End residence and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of threaten damage to property and one count of mischief under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 26th of May at approximately 12:15 a.m., the accused attended at a residence that his ex-girlfriend was at and continuously banged on a door and window in attempts to get her to come out to talk with him.

The window was broken and the police were called.

Police attended and investigated the incident and learned that the accused had left several threatening messages throughout the day on the answering machine of his ex-girlfriend, threatening to damage her property and to kill her new boyfriend.
