No, it won't solve the Sault's chronic physician shortage problem.

But the Toronto Star has learned that a new provincial government hotline will be introduced next month, aimed at matching patients with doctors who are willing to accept them.

When patients call the new 1-800 number, a Telehealth Ontario employee will record a health history, which will then be used by a nurse to locate an appropriate physician.
