Onetime NFL star Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Today's announcement comes a week after Vick completed serving a 23-month federal sentence.
If he signs on with an NFL team, he'll be able to participate in preseason practices and meetings, and play in the final two preseason games.
A former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, Vick was suspended indefinitely in August 2007 after admitting to a lead role in an illegal dog fighting operation.
