Stephanie Ochoski is serving up a big mess of dessert poutine tonight to Rogers Radio operator Darcy Nevers at the brand-new Don Cherry's Sports Grill.

The tastes-a-billion-times-better-than-it-looks dish contains sweet potato fries, mini marshmallows, hot caramel sauce and cinnamon sugar.

In addition to the regular Don Cherry's menu, the Sault outlet also has a limited-hours buffet similar to that offered by the Iron Chef Wok that previously occupied the old Pure Platinum site at 203 Great Northern Road.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with earlier closings possible some Sundays.

Don Cherry, the former Boston Bruins coach whose jackets are almost as loud as his television persona, is tentatively scheduled to visit the Sault's newest eatery on January 13.
