New knife incident reported on Woodward Avenue

*********************** On the 18th of April City Police received a complaint of a male chasing another male down Woodward Avenue while wielding a knife.

When police arrived in the area they found two males on Kohler Avenue matching the description from the call.

It is believed that 21-year-old Derek Lethbridge of 140 Woodward Avenue chased a male known to him.

The accused was arrested and searched by police and was found in possession of a knife.

The accused has been charged with one count of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, one count of assault with a weapon, and one count of breach of release document.

The victim in this incident did not suffer any injuries.

The accused is to appear in court today.
