New hours for mall walk-in clinic announced

The SaultCare Medical Clinic in Cambrian Mall will move to different hours effective January 1, 2013. New hours will be Monday - Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m.

The SaultCare Medical Clinic in Cambrian Mall will move to different hours effective January 1, 2013.

New hours will be Monday - Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m.

According to the clinic, the change will provide the opportunity for easy access to "after hours" health care.

The new hours will also allow the expansion of the Superior Family Health Team, which operates out of the same location, to accommodate new family physicians joining the team and increase accessibility for their patients.

SaultCare is staffed by local physicians, most of whom also work in the hospital Emergency Department.

The clinic provides a wide spectrum of services.

The clinic says its on-site, fully licensed and qualified physicians and staff can address issues promptly and immediately, avoiding the need to visit the SAH Emergency Department.
