New eats at the airport

The Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation (SSMADC) would like to welcome Morningstar Hospitality Services Inc. to the Sault Ste. Marie Airport family.    

Morningstar is the new food and beverage operator at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport effective November 1, 2015. 

Hours of operation will be daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm 7 days per week. 

Renovations to the dining facility will take place in the near future, but uninterrupted service will continue through the transition and renovation stages. 

The new food and beverage kiosk in the hold room is also nearing completion with an anticipated February 2016 opening.

Terry Bos, President and CEO of the SSMADC stated; “The SSMADC looks forward to having a new airport family member and expanded hours of operation for food and beverage services at the airport.  Customers have been asking for better hours of service and we feel that Morningstar is meeting this need.”  

Visitors to the airport and surrounding neighbours will be able to visit the airport and enjoy a new menu that will include both hot and cold menu items, as well as beverages. 

The dining facility will be fully licenced early in the New Year.
