New dates for Shadows of the Mind Film Festival in 2010

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Shadows of the Mind film festival would like to announce the dates for the 2010 festival. 

The 11th annual film festival will run from March 23-28, 2010.

Our traditional dates in February coincide with the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. 

Cineplex Odeon (Galaxy Cinemas) could not guarantee access to theatres as there is a strong possibility that they might be showing some Olympic events. 

“Although our fans are accustomed to our festival running in February, we think the new dates are a great compromise and we are certain our audience and sponsors will be as well,” said Donna Boston, co-chair of the film festival. 

Even though the dates of the main festival are changing, we are still pleased to host the free family day in February. 

The free event will run on February 15, 2010. 

More details on this event will be released when a venue and film are confirmed. 

The Shadows holiday blitz special is now available. 

You can purchase a five-pack for $35.

The five tickets can be used for any movie during the festival. 

This blitz runs until December 31, 2009.
