The Bon Soo Winter Carnival and the Public Relations & Event Management Program (PEM) are excited to announce the product of their new partnership, The Marquee.
The Marquee is a new performance space that provides a platform for members of the community involved in the arts, culture and performance communities.
The Marquee is one of the projects undertaken for Bon Soo 2013 to support arts and culture, and is supported partially by BCAH funding through the Department of Canadian Heritage, as announced by MP Bryan Hayes on Friday.
The new event will be located at Bellevue Park, the home of Bon Soo’s Tim Hortons Winter Playground.
The Marquee will be open from February 2-10, 2013, during Playground hours.
The Marquee is currently looking for local artists, performers, and entertainers to partake in this historical partnership.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in showcasing your talents, then The Marquee is just the place for you!
If performing is not your forte but you still want to support the local talent, the PEM program is also looking for volunteers during the week-long festivities as well.
If you are interested in getting involved with The Marquee (as a performer or volunteer), [so indicate] by e-mail.
