************************* Inmate charged with possession of stolen property

Twenty-seven-year-old Louise Auger of no fixed address was arrested on the 8th of October at 3:25 p.m. at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre and charged with one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that when the accused was brought into custody to the centre after being remanded in bail court earlier in the morning, she was found in possession of a wallet that had been reported stolen from a vehicle on the 7th of October.

At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

She is to appear in bail court once again this morning.
