************************* Eighteen-year-old Nathan Sayers of #306-80 Sackville Road was arrested yesterday at 10:17 p.m. on John Street and charged with one count of breach of a release order, one count of obstructing a peace officer and four counts of breach of probation.

It is alleged that at 10:10 p.m. City Police checked two males on John Street and discovered that the accused was on an undertaking and a probation order with curfew conditions to be in his residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

When the police were dealing with the accused he [allegedly] falsely identified himself.

At the time of this incident he was on further conditions of probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

************************* Twenty-four-year-old Matthew Shawana of #2-207 Wellington Street East was arrested at 1:45 p.m. yesterday at his residence on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of fail to appear court and one count of breach of a release document.

It is alleged that on the 19th of December 2007 the accused failed to appear for court.

At the time of his arrest the accused was also found to be residing at a different address and had failed to notify the City Police of his change of address as required in the recognizance release order he was on.
