************************* Search warrant results and identities of arrested and charged persons appearing in bail court this morning

In relation to this break-and-enter investigation, two vehicle stops were conducted yesterday afternoon in the areas of John Street and Queen Street West.

The vehicle stops were conducted by officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police patrol services, emergency services unit, street team, canine units and the OPP.

A duffle bag stolen from the break and enter was located during the vehicle stop on John Street and two of the accused persons found inside the vehicle were arrested.

Shortly afterwards, another accused male was arrested just outside his residence at 674 Albert Street West.

A search warrant was later executed at 674 Albert Street West and during the course of the search officers located approximately 1,038 grams of cannabis marijuana and a small amount of cannabis resin.

As a result of this break-and-enter investigation and the execution of the search warrant, three persons have been charged with the following offences:

- Eighteen-year-old Adrianna Costello of 39 Sunnydale Road and 28-year-old Wesley Hallam of 63 Foothill Road arrested during the vehicle stop on John Street were both charged with one count of break and enter into a dwelling and one count of possession of stolen property.

- Twenty-six-year-old Blake Hudson of 674 Albert Street West was charged with one count of break and enter into a dwelling, one count of possession of stolen property, one count possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

The investigation is ongoing this morning and there are no further details at this time.
