Names released from White River crash that killed five

********************** Update to fatal collision

(White River, Ontario) - Superior East OPP continues to investigate a fatal collision, which claimed the lives of five people at approximately 8 p.m. on the 16th of July 2006. The parties in the eastbound vehicle have been identified as 64-year-old Joan Bakos, 32-year-old Shawna Bakos and one-year-old Victoria Bianchi, all from Newmarket, Ontario. The occupants of the westbound vehicle were identified as 46-year-old Sandra Feller-Paladichuk and 41-year-old Michael Blair Paladichuk of Dwight, Ontario.

There has been no determination as to what may have been the cause of the collision.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
