************************* Male arrested for theft

Yesterday afternoon, City Police were called to the Sears Store in the Station Mall regarding an [alleged] shoplifter.

Upon arrival officers arrested 27-year-old Michael Muto of 485 Douglas Street and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that Mr. Muto entered the Sears Store and stole a metal ring valued at approximately $12.

He will be appearing in court on August 25 at 9 a.m.
