Motor stolen from Pine Island tug

TARBUTT ADDITIONAL TWP, ON – On June 3 at approximately 10:30 a.m., a theft of an outboard motor and a generator was reported to the East Algoma Thessalon OPP.

The items were removed from a tug boat docked at the old ferry dock on the south side of Pine Island.

The theft occurred on June 2nd, 2010 between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The outboard motor is described as a Grey Honda 15 h.p. four-stroke motor and the generator is a red GT1200 Power G.

The value of the theft is approximately $3,000.
