Due to the continued closure of Highway17N and the poor weather/ road conditions, transportation to/ from Aweres Public School in Heyden and Mountain View Public School in Goulais River is cancelled today.

Mountain View Public School in Goulais River is closed today as it was yesterday.

Aweres Public School in Heyden will remain open.

Also, all district buses, with the exception of route H4 and route 91, for all school boards from Batchewana, Goulais, Heyden and Searchmont that travel to Sault Ste. Marie are also cancelled today due to the poor weather and highway closure.

Again, routes H4 and 91 are able to operate from the Trout Lake area.
