Best for Kids summer program starts July 3

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - The City of Sault Ste. Marie is offering a new, free summer program for children ages 7 to 12 called Best for Kids.

The Best for Kids program, situated at the Etienne Brule schoolyard and Greco pool, will provide a variety of activities including team sports, arts and crafts, educational challenges, special events, and swim lessons. 

The program starts Tuesday, July 3.

Daily program schedule:

• Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Lunch provided each day from 12 noon to 1 p.m. 

This is a come-and-go program and registration will be taken at the Etienne Brule After School Program starting the week of June 18 to 22 and will continue all summer. 

Participants need to register their information only once. A health card number is required for emergency purposes. 

Experienced program leaders will be on site at all times to ensure a safe, friendly and caring environment.
