More gold for Canada in China

Canada’s medal tally continues to climb at the Beijing Paralympics. Today’s successes include a record-breaking performance by British Columbia’s Michelle Stilwell. She won gold in the women’s 200 metre T52 for wheelchair track.

Canada’s medal tally continues to climb at the Beijing Paralympics.

Today’s successes include a record-breaking performance by British Columbia’s Michelle Stilwell.

She won gold in the women’s 200 metre T52 for wheelchair track.

At present, Canada stands eleventh overall with 19 medals.

The total includes seven gold, four silver and eight bronze finishes.

With 96 medals, China stands alone in first place.
