More area fire bans announced

The fire chief for the Township of Tarbutt & Tarbutt Additional has issued an open air fire ban for the municipality effective immediately. Changes in the status of the ban will be issued as conditions allow.

In addition, Johnson Township Fire Chief Robert McKinnon advises that all burning permits are now cancelled until further notice and no new ones will be issued.

And, earlier today the Fire Department for the Corporation of the Town of Bruce Mines imposed a fire ban on all open air burning.
