************************* Car thief experiences an 'identity crisis'
GARDEN RIVER, ON - One of the two car thieves that were tracked down by a police dog on Saturday appears to have a problem knowing exactly just who he is.
On Saturday morning at about 11 a.m., officers with several area police services responded to suspects on the loose from a stolen vehicle in Garden River.
Upon being captured one of the suspects identified himself as Jeffery Spencer of Brampton.
With the assistance of the Ministry of Correctional Services it has been learned that the man really is 24-year-old year old Bradley Peter Waite of Brampton, Ont. As a result of Mr. Waite's "identity issues" he will now face even more criminal charges than his [alleged] car-thief counterpart.
Both are expected to appear in Sault Ste. Marie bail court tomorrow morning.
